1. | Brackett, Daniel was born in C 1757 in Falmouth, ME; died in 1826 in Clarnedon, NY; was buried in Pettingill Cem., Clarendon, NY. Notes: Went from Falmouth to Fairfax (now Albion) in 1798 to settle a hundred- acre parcel he was entitled to as a Revolutionary War veteran. He was part of the White Indian Band that went after deputies that were sent to serve quit claim papers on them. He was forced to flee to upstate New York where he was an itinerant shoemaker.
