Notes:

David's father died when he was young and he learned the trade of shoemaker. He removed to Albion and bought the Eaton Lumber Mill. He worked closely with Rev. Daniel Lovejoy and after his death in 1833 he built a shop where he manufactured boots and shoes. He went to Benton around 1853.

David married Guptill, Betsey on 1 Sep 1833. Betsey (daughter of Guptill, John and Libby, Lois) was born in C 1812 in Berwick, ME; died on 4 Feb 1902 in Benton, ME; was buried in Fall Cem., Benton, ME. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
