Rowe, Albert

Notes:

Civil War Veteran. Co.G., 19th ME Infantry. Fought in Fredericksburg, Gettysburg and was at the surrender of Appomattox Court House. In 1905 Albert and son Asher with horse and wagon moved the hearth granite from Elijah Parish Lovejoy's home and moved it to Colby College where it sits as a memorial to him. They are in 1900 census of Benton with son Walter and 1910 census of Albion with Walter.

Albert married Morrill, Helen R. on 8 Mar 1863 in Winslow, ME. Helen was born in Mar 1844 in ME; died in 1920; was buried in Shaw Cem., Albion, ME. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
